Since its establishment 51 years ago, The World Earth Day has mobilized hundreds of millions of people around the world. In this context, the World Association of Agronomists (WAA) is celebrating the World Earth Day 2021, in order to present the activities carried out in the last 20 years in the field of sustainable development, to propose future activities for the implementation of the strategy of the WAAforAGENDA 2030 Action Plan.
It will be also a great occasion to commemorate the WAA colleague, friend and volunteer, the dear and esteemed Adriano Ciani, Professor of Agricultural Economics and rural appraisal at the University of Perugia, who has dedicated his professional life and human commitment to sustainability.
