Guillermo Donoso

Resume

Professor Donoso works at the Water Law and Management Center and Agricultural Economics Department of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he teaches Water Economics and Management and Natural Resource Economics.

He specialises on collective water management, agricultural water economics and policy, water use efficiencies.

He is a board member of the International Water Resources Association (IWRA) and a member of Stockholm’s World Water Week’s Scientific Programme Committee. He was Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry of the Catholic University of Chile between 1998 and 2007.

He has over 20 years of experience in studies in Water Economics as well as consultant for UNDP, IADB, GTZ and the World Bank in projects for Latin America and the Caribbean.

His publications include Water Policy in Chile (Springer International), book chapters and academic publications in scientific journals such as Water Policy, Water Resources Management, Water International, Water Science and Technology, International Journal of Water Resources and Development, Environmental Science and Policy, among others.
