Alexandre Lahóz Mendonça de Barros is an Agronomist, Ph.D. in Economics, Ph.D. in Applied Economics ESALQ USP

He has been Lecturer for the Economics and Administration departments at ESALQ USP from 1993 to 2004, Visiting scholar at Veterinary Medicine School USP in 2002 and 2003, Lecturer at São Paulo Economics School FGV from 2004 to 2011, Associate professor at Fundação Dom Cabral in 2018 and 2019, Advisor for several graduation, Master’s and Doctorate’s open questions , Lectured for 17 years in the chairs of Macroeconomics, Economic Development and Agricultural Economy Distinguished Professor by the ESALQ and FGV classes Patron of the Economics Class in ESALQ 2 .

He Started his career as an advisor in 2001 at age 34. Enrolled in the business administration council for open and familiar capital in different stages of development. Membership of the Ultrafértil-Fosfértil Advisory Board appointed by MOSAIC and membership of several Administration Boards, Membership of Consulting Boards of Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste and COSAG/FIESP

He is Director for the Agribusiness Department at FIESP

He is founding Partner of MB Agro Consultoria, consulting company specialized in agricultural markets he has coordinated and executed a wide array of strategic studies for national and international companies.

Lecturer in the main Brazilian agribusiness events (around 60 lectures a year).

Joined many public policy creation processes for Agribusiness
